Applicants will be given an assignment to complete. This is a full-time role in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and we regret that we are not currently able to sponsor foreign applicants.
Responsibilities:
- Source new investment deals and maintain contact and relationships with founders;
- Perform extensive research and due diligence on investment deals;
- Support the Company in processing investment transactions, including drafting and reviewing deal documentation; structuring and tracking deal flow; performing financial modelling and analysis; conducting due diligence on investment opportunities; and other such matters;
- Manage investment portfolio, including liaising with founders on various matters and representing the Company in meetings, collaborating with founders in solving problems and creating value, reporting portfolio performance, tracking portfolio companies’ legal and statutory compliance, and other such matters;
- Engage with the Company’s ecosystem, which may include attending conferences, investor demo days, and seminars as the Company’s representative in various capacities, and mentoring start-ups enrolled in development programmes;
- Support the Company’s value-creation and ecosystem-building activities;
- Provide support in internal compliance, operational, and reporting activities to various stakeholders;
- Obtain and share market news/intelligence;
- Recommend improvements or strategies to improve the Company’s productivity or strategic position and value;
- Prepare any ad-hoc research or reports as the Company requires.
